FC Barcelona launches Barça Legacy Streams for watching classic matches on Discord

Barça Legacy Streams is an FC Barcelona initiative that aims to take fans back in time to rewatch some of the blaugranas' legendary matches. The Club offers culers the chance to vote on Discord for the game they want to see again, and the winner will be broadcast via the platform.

The launch of Barça Legacy Streams is another example of FC Barcelona's pioneering approach as they aim to reach new audiences and generations, becoming the first football club to enable fans to vote and decide the games they would like to watch via Discord. The first vote is now open, with Barça fans having 48 hours up to 19 October to choose which Clásico game they want to watch again. The game will be shown on 21 October.

Members have a choice of five different Clásico games to vote for:

• Real Madrid 0 – 5 FC Barcelona (LaLiga, 1974)
• FC Barcelona 5 – 0 Real Madrid (LaLiga, 1994)
• Real Madrid 2 – 6 FC Barcelona (LaLiga, 2009)
• FC Barcelona 5 – 0 Real Madrid (LaLiga, 2010)
• Real Madrid 2 – 3 FC Barcelona (LaLiga, 2017)

This launch is in line with the Club's robust digital strategy, with recent achievements including the sale of the NFT called "Empowerment", inspired by Alexia Putellas and the second in the Club's history from the "Masterpiece" collection, which sold for USD 300,231.36 at the OpenSea digital auction. FC Barcelona also made history with the first live broadcast on Discord of the women's first team's Joan Gamper Trophy game in August.
