LOS ANGELES — Just hours after the final whistle of Barça's preseason opener, the team was back out on the training pitch at LA Memorial Coliseum for a morning recovery workout. Barça fell to Arsenal, 5-3, on Wednesday night at SoFi Stadium. Despite the defeat, the match served to give Xavi's players their first minutes of competitive football in over a month and a half. 

Oriol Romeu, congratulated

All available players trained on Thursday morning. Before the ball got rolling, the players congratulated Oriol Romeu, the father of a newborn baby girl. Gavi and Lenglet, who did not play against Arsenal, worked out individually.
