FC Barcelona and Joel Parra have reached the beginning of an agreement, dependent on a medical, for the next four seasons until 30 June 2027. 

A new generation 

At 23 years of age, 202cm tall Joel Parra has become a top forward in the national game. Last season he was a key member of the Joventut de Badalona side and he has made 26 appearances for the Spanish national side. 

In 2022/23 Parra made 40 appearances in the Endesa League with an average of 26 minutes, 9.6 points and a rating of 12.2. Despite his youth he has played a total of 154 matches in the league showing his leadership skills with Joventut. 

On the way up

In Europe he made 21 appearances in the Eurocup in 2022/23 with an average of 12.9 points (49% in three pointers), 3.9 rebounds and a rating of 14.4. Since 2019/20 he has played a total of 73 matches in European competition.

Barça have reached an early agreement with a player with a great future in the forward position.
