Giulia Dragoni, midfielder in the Barça B team, has been named among the 25 members of the Italy squad that's going to the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The 16-year-old made her full international debut last July 1 in a friendly against Morocco (0-0) and did enough to convince coach Milena Bertolini.
18 from Barça
That takes the total Barça representation at the tournament up to 18. Nine of them are in the Spain squad: Cata Coll, Irene Paredes, Laia Codina, Aitana Bonmatí, Maria Pérez, Alexia Putellas, Mariona Caldentey, Salma Paralluelo and Ona Batlle.
The club is also represented by Engen and Caroline Graham (Norway), Crnogorčević (Switzerland), Oshoala (Nigeria), Bronze and Walsh (England), Rolfö (Sweden) and Geyse (Brazil).
