LaLiga has announced the names of the seven candidates for the September Player of the Month award. Following some tremendous displays in his new FC Barcelona shirt against Granada, Cádiz and Levante, Memphis Depay is one of the seven.

The other nominees are Oyarzabal (Real Sociedad), Falcao (Rayo), Benzema (Real Madrid), Rafa Mir (Sevilla), Rulli (Villarreal) and Willian José (Betis).

Because of the international break and the postponement of the Sevilla game on September 11, Barça have only played three fixtures this month.
