FC Barcelona to open La Liga campaign against Real Sociedad
The 2021/22 fixtures for La Liga have been announced. Barça will open their league campaign against Real Sociedad at Camp Nou on the weekend of 14/15 August. The draw for the season's schedule took place on Wednesday at the Spanish Football Federation's headquarters in Las Rozas near Madrid.

The 'Clásicos'
The two games against Real Madrid in the league will be in the 10th and 29th round of fixtures. The first comes at Camp Nou on 23/24 October whilst the second is at the Santiago Bernabéu on 19/20 March.
The Catalan derby is back
With Espanyol's promotion back to the top flight, the Catalan derby returns for the 2021/22 season. The game at Camp Nou will be on 20/21 November during the 14th round of matches whilst the game at Espanyol will be during Week 24 on 12/13 February.
