The winner of the presidential elections made the trip to Paris, invited by the president of the Management Commission, Carles Tusquets
This Wednesday's match in Paris will be remembered for FC Barcelona's elimination from the Champions League. Despite playing a superb match, the 1-4 first leg defeat was too much of an obstacle for Barça. Newly elected president, Joan Laporta, was also at the Parc des Princes along with Rafa Yuste, invited by the chairman of the Management Committee.
Exchange of gifts
Before the match, PSG and FC Barcelona carried out the traditional exchange of gifts. The French team presented the Catalans with a reproduction of their stadium and a poster commemorating the qualifier, while Barça gave a rendering of the skyline of the city of Barcelona with the Camp Nou, in return.
The president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the new president-elect of Barça, Joan Laporta, and the president of the Management Committee, Carles Tusquets, all took part in the institutional meeting.
