One year since the latest Liga title
On 27 April 2019, Barça secured the 26th league championship with a 1-0 defeat of Levante
This Monday 27 April marks a year since Barça won their 26th Liga title thanks to beating Levante 1-0 with a goal from Leo Messi. Barça had had chances aplenty, but it wasn’t until the 67th minute that the Argentinian finally found the back of the net.
The title was won with a massive three games still in hand, the earliest league victory of the 21st century, and was an incredible EIGHTH win in just eleven seasons. The Messi era has, undoubtedly, been one of magic and joy from start to finish!
