The first team players will be in constant contact with the coaches to supervise their home sessions
Dr. Jaume Padrós, president of the Medical College of Barcelona and head of occupational health at the club, and Dr. Antoni Trilla, Chief of Epidemiology at the Clinic Hospital, spoke to the players on Friday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper to inform them about the situation arising from Covid-19, and advising them on how to act. Later in the afternoon, the players went home with individualised training guidelines for the next few days, and they will be monitored by the first team's physical trainers.
The coaches will be in constant contact with the players to supervise and monitor sessions. At the moment, these training programmes are scheduled for the next seven days and will be renewed until a return to group training.
Apart from physical activity, players will continue to follow the nutritional guidelines they have already maintained throughout the season. Each footballer has been following an individual plan during this campaign, and in the coming days the players will be able to have the necessary consultations with the Medical Services team in case of any doubt.
