Barça's record after international breaks

The blaugranes have not lost after international fixtures during Ernesto Valverde's spell as coach

Since Ernesto Valverde took over at Barça for the 2017/18 season there have been a total of 10 breaks for international fixtures. The return to action has always been positive with the blaugranes never having lost a game, their record being 7 wins and 3 draws in those 10 games.

2019/20

Return to action after September international break:

Barça 5 Valencia 2  - GOALS: Ansu Fati, de Jong, Piqué and Luis Suárez (2)

October international break:

Eibar 0 Barça 3 – GOALS: Griezmann, Messi, Luis Suárez

On Saturday Barça visit Leganés, now coached by Mexican Javier Aguirre. It is not the first time the blaugranes go to El Butarque after an international break. In the 2017/18 season, also in the month of November, two goals from Luis Súarez and a strike form Paulinho gave Barça a 3-0 win away from home.
