Training in Vitoria

The final training session before facing Eibar (Saturday, 1.00pm CEST). The players worked out on Friday morning to finish preparing for the match corresponding to match day nine in La Liga, and it was a session with a difference. This one took place at the Ciutat Esportiva CD Alavés in Vitoria - some 60 kilometres from Ipurua - and where Alavés' first team usually train as well as where their youth sides play.

Medical clearance for Umtiti and Junior

After training, defenders Samuel Umtiti and Junior Firpo received medical clearance and therefore are available for the match against Eibar. It must be remembered that Ernesto Valverde has called up a total of 22 players, four of whom will have to be discarded before the game.
