Rocket League fans will be able to enjoy a Rocketmania ESE international experience between Barça and Piast Gliwice Esports. The event will be held on July 20 at the Gliwice Arena in the Polish city of Gliwice, a few kilometres from Katowice -the European capital of esports.

The Polish team, twice winners of national football league, are the first in the country to show their commitment to Rocket League. The Piast Gliwice Esports squad is made up of former members of  the BTRS team, which won first place in the regular season of the Grand Yee Tournament -an unofficial competition in Poland.

Some players on the roster have big names in the community, such as captain Petrick. The future aim for Piast Gliwice Esports is to earn a place in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).

Barça, meanwhile, already compete in the RLCS, known as the best competition in the world of its kind, and arrive in Poland after taking second place in the RLCS Europe, reaching the quarterfinals in the Rocket League World Cup in New Jersey and winning the ESL Masters España.

Rocket League has a very dynamic ecosystem with more than 50 million players around the world and is one of the most successful sports titles amongst sports clubs. The prize pool up for grabs in the competitions is constantly growing and could follow this trend further after the acquisition of Psyonix by Epic Games - creators of Fortnite - a few months ago.
