Lluís Cortés signs a new contract as coach of FC Barcelona Women

FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Lluís Cortés for the extension of his contract until 30 June 2020 with the option of another season. 

On Monday the Barça Women's coach signed his new agreement at the Camp Nou offices in the presence of sporting vicepresident Jordi Mestre and the board member responsible for the section, Maria Teixidor and the sporting manager, Markel Zubizarreta. 

The 32 year old coach from the Catalan town of Balaguer took over in January when he replaced Fran Sánchez as coach after previously occupying the role of assistant first team coach.
