Juan Carlos Navarro broke a new Liga Endesa record this Sunday in the game against CAI Zaragoza. The FC Barcelona Regal captain has established a total of seven records throughout his career as a Blaugrana, here’s a detailed look at all of them:
1 - He’s the FCB player with the most games in the ACB (532)
The player with the second most games played in the ACB for Barça is Juan Antonio San Epifanio ‘Epi’, with a total of 422 matches.
2 - He’s the FCB player with the most points in the ACB (7,035)
Against CAI, Navarro scored a total of 28 points, which took the captain’s overall point tally in the league past Epi’s, who had set the ACB record at 7,029 points.
3 - He’s the FCB player with the most assists in the ACB (1,302)
Navarro is by far the most productive player in the assist department for Barça in the past couple of seasons. The player with the second most assists in the ACB is Nacho Solozábal with 774.
4 - He’s the player who has scored the most points in the Euroleague (3,066)
The Catalan stands alone at the top of the list in this particular statistic. He recently broke the 3,000-point barrier and the only active player within relative striking rage of Navarro is Jaka Lakovic, who is 500 points from equaling the record.

A couple of weeks ago the ex-Barça player Gianluca Basile, who has scored a total of 421 three pointers in the Euroleague, was close to claiming the record. Navarro, however, broke the record as he’s notched up 432 three pointers from 225 matches.
6 - He’s the player who has scored the most three pointers in the Copa del Rey (53)
The FCB captain has won the competition six times, and he currently holds the record for the most converted three point shots (53). Alberto Herreros is second with 49.
7 - He has played more Copa del Rey games than any other player
Navarro has featured in 34 Copa del Rey matches, five more than Rafa Jofresa (29).
