Messi equals Iniesta’s 674 games for Barça

Lionel Messi keeps breaking records at FC Barcelona. After overcoming Betis 4-1 in the Benito Villamarín, the Argentine has equalled Andrés Iniesta’s total of 674 appearances for Barça. Now, the Barça number 10 only has Xavi Hernández ahead of him on the all-time list on the day that he moved past the midfielder’s number of wins for FC Barcelona.

Messi has scored 588 goals in those 674 official matches for Barça, lifting 33 trophies whilst doing so. The Argentine’s next goal is to match the all-time appearances of Xavi Hernández, one of the few records left at the Club that does not belong to Leo Messi.
