As well as training with the Barça Legend, the youngsters were able to Ernesto Valverde's team play against Rayo Vallecano

Scotiabank, a Barça partner, have taken more than 30 boys and girls from Chile, Peru and Uruguay so that they can enjoy a unique experience: having former blaugrana Luis García as their personal coach. This young group of Latin American kids are part of a programme to help youngsters avoid situations of risk and social exclusion in their countries. To be able to travel to Barcelona and visit the Barça facilities is a great reward for the boys and girls who live in difficult situations in their homelands.

Aside from the training sessions with Luis García, the youngsters were also able to see the game against Rayo Vallecano at Camp Nou and see the club first hand. The former blaugrana took part in the initiative which allowed the children to play football at the Ciutat Esportiva. It is not the first time that Scotiabank have been involved in this type of project with young people in Latin America which allows them to travel and enjoy a unique sporting experience with other youngsters and to experience another culture.
