The Barça handball team remain unbeaten in the Asobal League after a win away from home against rivals Ademar León. Six goals from N'Guessan and five from Ludovic Fabregas and Djordje Cikusa were more than to record an eighth win in eight games in the domestic competition which leaves then top of the table with a game in hand. 

In between two European games, the win earlier in the week against Wisla Plock and next Wednesday's clash with PSG, it was vital to maintain form in the league. After an tight start with the sides 8-8 after 11 minutes, a run of four goals built a 12-8 lead. At one point Barça were up by seven before going off at half time leading 21-14. 

In the second half Barça kept up the pace and another run of unanswered goals, five this time, gave them a 10 goal lead. Nielsen weighed in with 9 saves in goal before Barrufet's goal on 45 minutes led to a 33-20 advantage. In the end Barça ran out 38-29 winners to boost confidence ahead of next week's game in Europe.
