Dyego Zuffo has announced via social and together with the Club that he will be leaving Barça at the end of the current season, which coincides with the end of his current contract on 30 June. In his message the futsal player explains that he took the decision "months ago" and that he feels "very proud of his time with Barça" because he has always given everything at all time and because he is currently the only player ever to have made more than 500 appearances for the FC Barcelona futsal team.

Dyego also emphasised the many magical nights at the Palau: "In the end the most important things is not trophies but those moments that we will all remember."

Dyego's stats

Dyego came to Barça in 2014 and that very season he won the Champions League and the Copa del Rey under coach Marc Carmona. In his 516 appearances for the Club, he scored 210 goals, fourth on the all time club list after Lonzano, Ferrao and Wilde. His honours with the blaugranes include 3 Champions League titles, 4 league titles, 4 Spanish Cups, 5 Copas del Rey, 3 Supercups and 6 Catalan Cups - 25 trophies in total with only Sergio Lozano having more.

The Club will play tribute to the player at the Palau, along with Sergio Lozano, on Thursday 29 May, the date of the first home play off game for the league title.
