Final international break of 2025. The road to the 2026 World Cup in Canada, the United States of America and Mexico is on the agenda for many of the blaugranes who have travelled to be with their national sides, while others have some friendlies to play.
Come back here every day to find out what's in store and how each blaugrana and their international teammates got on in every game. Here is the full list of players called up for these internationals:
- Spain: Olmo, Cubarsí, Fermín and Ferran
- Poland: Lewandowski
- England: Rashford
- France: Kounde
- Denmark: Christensen
- Netherlands: Frenkie de Jong
- Sweden: Roony Bardghji
- Uruguay: Araujo
- United States of America: Kochen
Tuesday 18 November
Spain 2-2 Turkey
Dani Olmo was on target for Luis de la Fuente's side in the 2-2 draw in Seville, scoring the opener early on with Pau Cubarsí also in the starting line up. Turkey scored twice to turn the game around but Mikel Oyarzabal's equaliser maintained Spain's unbeaten record and sent them through to the World Cup finals next summer as group winners. Ferran Torres and Fermín made appearances in La Cartuja as second half substitutes.
Sweden 1-1 Slovenia
Roony Bardghji started for Sweden in their final game of qualification before being substituted in the second half. Despite the Swedes finishing bottom of group B, Bardghji still has a chance to make it to the World Cup finals in 2026 as his team are in the play offs by virtue of their performance in the UEFA Nations League.
Scotland 4-2 Denmark
Denmark needed just a point from the group C showdown in Glasgow to secure top spot qualification but late drama consigned Andreas Christensen's team to the play offs. The blaugrana defender played all 90 minutes in a game in which Scotland went 2-1 up in the second half after the Danes had been reduced to 10 men. Dorgu's equaliser gave his side hope until two goals in injury time sent the home side through to the finals for the first time since 1998.
USA 5-1 Uruguay
Ronald Araujo played all 90 minutes of his side's defeat in their friendly against the USA. Uruguay have already booked their ticket to the World Cup finals in Mexico, USA and Canada via Conmebol qualification.
Monday 17 November
Malta 2-3 Poland
Robert Lewandowski scored the opener for a Poland side who needed a late winner from Zielinski to take all three points. The Poles go into the play offs as runners-up in their group behind the Netherlands.
Netherlands 4-0 Lithuania
The Dutch secured automatic qualification for the 2026 World Cup with a comfortable win in Amsterdam over Lithuania. Frenkie de Jong was in the starting XI and played 64 minutes before being replaced in the second half.
Sunday 16 November
Azerbaijan 1-3 France
France ended their qualifying campaign unbeaten thanks to an away win in Baku that Jules Kounde watched from the bench as an unused substitute.
Albania 0-2 England
England maintained their 100% record in the group stage, finishing qualifying with eight wins out of eight after victory against second placed Albania. Barça's Marcus Rashford came on for the final 15 minutes of the game in Tirana.
Saturday 15 November
Mexico 0-0 Uruguay
Ronald Araujo remained on the bench as his compatriots held one of the host of next year's tournament to a scoreless draw at the Estadio Corona stadium in Torreon.
Switzerland 4-1 Sweden
The defeat at the hand of group leaders Switzerland does not change the fact that Sweden are still assured a place in the play offs via the UEFA Nations League route despite being bottom of Group B. Barça's Roony Bardghji was an unused substitute in the game.
Denmark 2-2 Belarus
Andreas Christensen played all 90 minutes of Denmark's surprise 2-2 draw at home to a previously pointless Belarus side. The Danes are already assured of play off place with top of the group and automatic qualification to be decided in their final fixture against second placed Scotland.
Georgia 4-0 Spain
Spain's 4-0 win in Georgia puts them ever closer to the 2026 World Cup final as they have assured themselves of play off place at least. If Luis de la Fuente's team can avoid a spectacular defeat against Turkey in their last game of the group then they will qualify as group winners. Ferran Torres' got his name on the scoresheet in the victory in Tibilisi after featuring in the starting XI alongside Pau Cubarsí. Fermín López came on in the second half whilst Dani Olmo was an unused substitute.
Friday 14 November
Poland 1-1 Netherlands
Both Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong played the full 90 of this World Cup qualifier (the latter was substituted in the second minute of injury time) in a game that ended 1-1. The draw doesn't quite secure mathematical qualification for the Dutch, but it would take a comically unlikely combination of results to stop them now. Meanwhile, the draw proved to be enough for Poland to ensure a playoff spot, coupled with Finland's shock defeat at home to Malta.
Earlier in the day, the United States U21 team, featuring Barça goalkeeper Diego Kochen, drew 1-1 in a friendly against Denmark.
Thursday 13 November
England 2-0 Serbia
England had already qualified for the finals before this game even started, but they still went out and got the job done against Serbia. Marcus Rashford played the first 66 minutes.
France 4-0 Ukraine
France, with Jules Kounde in the starting line-up, made sure of their place in next summer's final with an emphatic win over Ukraine in Paris. The Barça defender was on for 89 minutes, making several important contributions to the win.
