This Barça Women team is determined to win everything on offer. A 2-0 win away at Paris FC in the final game of the UEFA Women's Champions League initial phase leaves Pere Romeu's side top of the table and unbeaten. Against the French club, goals from Vicky López and Caroline Graham Hansen cemented top spot in the league and a direct place in the last eight of the competition. 

Cata Coll, early hero 

The game started with the home side on top and Barça keeper Cata Coll was called on early in the game to make an important save to deny Paris' Mateo the opening goal. Slowly, the blaugranes grew into the contest and first Aïcha and then Paredes went close to putting the visitors ahead.

Paris FC, already assured of a play off place, were keen to push forward when they could and Cata Coll had to be at her best once again to deny Korosec. On 22 minutes Barça were ahead when Vicky López turned home a chance after an excellent team move. The French hosts hit the post through Garbino in what was the last real action of the first half. 

The second half began in the best possible fashion for the blaugranes when Caroline Graham Hansen made it 2-0 on 49 minutes, scoring from the edge of the box with a well placed finish.

The second goal was the killer blow for the blaugranes and seemed to end the resistance of the home side. Pere Romeu's side came close to adding a third through first Pina and then Alexia before the final whistle confirmed their victory in the French capital.

The win confirmed Barça in first place in the league phase of the competition and a place in the quarter finals without needing a play off.
