Patri Guijarro signed in 2015 from Collerense when she was 17 years of age and Guijarro was the first woman to complete her schooling at La Masia.
In 2018 she was top goalscorer and player of the tournament in the U20 World Cup as Spain reached the final. The following year she represented the senior squad in the World Cup in France.
Guijarro was part of the Barça squad that won their first Champions League title in 2021 and also in 2023 when she scored twice in a remarkable comeback to beat Wolfsburg 3-2 in the final in Eindhoven. Her player of the match award in that game and her part in securing a fourth league winners' medal in 2023 with the blaugranes led to her to eighth place in the voting for the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
Patri was also a vital part of the 2023/24 and 2024/25 squads in which the team achieved a historic four trophies in a season and a domestic treble the following campaign.
Guijarro is the organiser in the middle for the team as well as demonstrating an excellent ability to get forward and score goals.
