The Swedish player came to Barça in the summer of 2021 after having faced the blaugranes in the 2018/19 season with Bayern Munich and in the 2019/20 with Wolfsburg.
Rölfo quickly became a fixture in the side on the left wing and since her arrival she has been a key part of the team's league winning campaigns and the blaugranes' Champions League win in 2023, scoring the winner in the final against her former club Wolfsburg.
In the summer of 2023 Rölfo competed at the World Cup with a Swedish side who reached the semi-finals of the competition in Australia and New Zealand. After impressing for both Barça and the national team the forward came fourth in the voting for the 2023 Ballon d'Or.
