The defender comes to the first team after coming up through the youth teams at the club
Jana Fernández (18/02/2002, Sant Esteve Sesrovires) came to the first team in the summer of 2020 after starting at the Barça Academy before passing through the various age groups in the club's youth teams. She made her debut in November 2018 at just 16 years and 9 months, the second youngest debutante since the team became professional. In the 2020/21 season she became an official member of the first team squad.
That season Jana began to accumulate playing time with the first team and made her Champions League debut in December of 2020 against PSV Eindhoven.
In 2021/22 her run in the side was halted by a serious knee injury which kept her out for over a year. In the following two season her time on the field was limited but in 2024/25 Jana made 35 appearances in the domestic treble winning season.
In the summer of 2018 she was an important part of the Spanish U17 squad that claimed the gold medal in the World Cup.
