The Barça Women centre back Laia Aleixandri is working hard every day at the Ciutat Esportiva on her recovery from a serious knee ligament injury sustained in the Copa de la Reina game against Real Madrid at the beginning of February. 

After an operation at the hands of Doctor Joan Carles Monllau on 10 February, the defender has around 8-10 months of recovery ahead of her. Nevertheless, she is approaching the challenge with optimism, working on a daily basis to return to action as soon as possible.
