200 matches for FC Barcelona. That is the milestone reached by Claudia Pina today 14 January, in the Liga F game against Atlético Madrid at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Another January 14

Fate has willed that her second ton should come exactly eight years after her debut with the women’s first team on 14 January 2018, when the Catalan played her first minutes in a league match against Zaragoza. The start of a career that has seen her become an indispensable component of Barça’s system.

Five different competitions

These 200 appearances have been spread across the various competitions in which she has taken part: 132 in the Liga F, 41 in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, 15 in the Copa de la Reina, seven in the Spanish Super Cup and five in the Copa Catalunya.

The same applies to her outstanding goalscoring stats. In total, she has scored 94 goals across all competitions, broken down as follows: 62 in theLiga F, 18 in the Champions League, six in the Copa de la Reina, three in the Super Cup and five in the Copa Catalunya. Indeed, she was the top scorer in last season’s UWCL.

23 titles

Pina has therefore reached a memorable landmark in terms of appearances, matched by the trophies she has won with the Club: a total of 23, including three Champions League titles, six league titles and five Copas. The forward has already written a remarkable chapter in Barça colours, but it is surely not the end of the story.
