Aitana Bonmatí "The Best" award chosen as best moment in December
What a great month it's been for Barça Women. They won all five games they played, two in the Liga F, two in the Champions League and one in the Copa de la Reina. What's more, they ended in first place of the league phase in Europe, earning direct qualification for the quarterfinals, the round they also went through to in the Copa de la Reina. Off the pitch there was also the delight of Claudia Pina putting pen to paper, meaning she is set to stay until 2029.
However, those moments weren't ultimately selected as the best moment in December by the FC Barcelona fans. The winner chosen by voting using the official club app was Aitana Bonmatí being named "The Best" for a third season in a row.
Despite December starting with the difficult news of her injury, the Catalan was rewarded with another individual award for her performances throughout the season, and the blaugrana fans decided it was their favourite moment of the month.
