Marta Torrejón will be staying for another season at Barça. The 35 year old Catalan defender will begin her 13th season as a blaugrana following her arrival at the Club in the summer of 2012. 

In the 2024/25 season the Barça Women second captain made 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goal. Torrejón's goals in the 1-0 win away at Levante Badalona late on in the season helped the team claim the league title. 

Blaugrana legend 

Marta Torrejón is a legend at Barça and in women's football in general. The Mataró born defender has made 465 appearances as a blaugrana, the same number as Alexia Putellas - and scored 72 goals, more than any other defender in Club history. 

In more than 20 years as a professional, the Barça number '8' has won 30 trophies. In 12 seasons at Barça she has won 3 Champions League titles, 8 league titles, 8 Copas de la Reina, 5 Spanish Super Cups and 6 Copas Catalunya.
