They continue to make history. Barça Women have clinched their 10th league title and sixth in a row. The win away to Betis means their lead at the top of the table is insurmountable with one matchday to go.
This is coach Pere Romeu's second trophy win after the Spanish Super Cup victory in January. However, the season is still very much under way and team have another two finals to play in the two remaining competitions – the UEFA Women’s Champions League and Copa de la Reina – meaning the four trophy haul from last season is very much on.
With 27 wins and only two defeats, the Barça players continue display their dominance when it comes to the Liga F. They have scored the most goals with 125, while only conceding 16, with Polish striker Ewa Pajor top scoring with 23 goals.
Another four trophy season the target
With the Liga F already in the bag, Pere Romeu's side are aiming to emulate last season's feats. The Spanish Super Cup and the Liga F trophies are already in the cabinet, and they can still add the UEFA Women’s Champions League by winning the final against English side Arsenal in Lisbon (24 May), plus the Copa de la Reina, with Atlético Madrid the opponents in the final in Huesca on 7 June.
