The fifth Super Cup is ours! Barça Women have defeated Real Madrid 5-0 in the Spanish Super Cup final at the Butarque Municipal stadium. It is also their fourth in a row, reaffirming the blaugranes' dominance in this tournament.
The road to claim coach Pere Romeu's first trophy since he took charge of the team wasn't that easy though. They had to overcome two good teams in Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid. The 3-0 semi-final win against the former saw goals by Claudia Pina (2) and Caroline Graham Hansen. The goalscorers in the final were Caroline Graham Hansen, Pajor (2), Patri, and Alexia.

Five from six
Looking back, the blaugranes' record in the competition is notable. The competition has only been contested since the 2019/20 edition and FC Barcelona have only failed to win it once – the 20/21 edition when they lost to Atlético Madrid on penalties in the semi-final. Otherwise, the blaugranes have simply ruled the roost.
In fact, the goalscoring data from the five finals makes for very positive reading for Barça. 32 goals for the blaugranes and only one against. The final performances prior to the latest edition were 10-1 against Levante in the 19/20 season, 7-0 against Atlético Madrid in the 21/22 season, 3-0 against Real Sociedad in the 22/23 season, and 7-0 against Levante in the 23/24 season.
