Fourth Copa de la Reina final in the past five years

Fourth Copa de la Reina final in the past five years

The blaugranes are through to another Copa de la Reina final, making it no fewer than 9 finals in the last 13 seasons

Through to the Copa de la Reina final! The win against Athletic Club in the semi-finals means that FC Barcelona have reached their 12th final of the KO competition, and only Real Sociedad stand in their way of lifting their tenth trophy. This is the fourth final in the last five years and the ninth in the past 13 seasons. Their record is almost unbeatable, with nine wins and only two losses during the period. The only seasons when the blaugranes didn't reach the final were 2011/12, 2014/15, 2018/19 and 2022/23.

Last season's Copa de la Reina left a very sour taste in the mouth for Barça as they were expelled from the competition due to an inelegible line-up, but they now have the chance to put things right just a season later and lift the trophy again. It would be the second trophy of the season after the Spanish Super Cup win.

FC Barcelona's goal difference in the finals is outstanding, with 28 goals scored and only 12 goals conceded across the 11 finals to date. Alexia Putellas leads the way for most goals scored with seven, followed by Jenni Hermoso with five, and Aitana Bonmatí and Vicky Losada each with two.
