Barça Women back in training on 28 December
After the heavy 7-0 defeat of Rosengård in the Champions league, Barça Women now have some deserved days off from today 22 December. The last game of the year was the icing on cake on what was a very sweet 2023. Last season's Champions League win will come to mind immediately, but there are many more stats to highlight what this team does week after week.
With practically half of the season played, Barça Women are the only team in Europe to have won every game in the domestic league (12) and in the Champions League (4). What's more, they are also the team to score most goals in their domestic league (50) and concede the least (2). The same goes for the Champions League, scoring 21 and only conceding one. Excellence personified.
The bar is already high, but the blaugranes will want to make 2024 even better, so they will be back in training not long before 2023 comes to an end, specifically on 28 December, with a single session that day before a double session on the 29th. Another training session will take place on 30 December before they get another couple of days off on 31 December and 1 January.
From 2 January 2024, Jonatan Giráldez' side will start to prepare for the first game of 2024, no less than the Catalan derby against Levante Las Planas, which will be played on Three Kings Day, 06/01, at Estadi Johan Cruyff, kick off 6.30pm CET.
