    Maria Pérez loaned to Sevilla

    21-year-old World Cup winner to spend the 2023/24 season in Andalusia

    FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for Maria Pérez to play on loan to the latter club until 30 June 2024.

    Pérez, a member of the World Cup winning Spain squad, recently renewed her current contract with Barça through to 30 June 2025. However, she will be spending the next year with the team that finished seventh in the Liga F in 2022/23.

    The Catalan midfielder was in and around the first team squad last season, playing five games under Jonatan Giráldez, while also featuring prominently for the reserve side that won the Primera RFEF.
