Bruna extends her contract to 2026

The Barça Women forward signs for three more seasons in the presence of president Joan Laporta

Bruna Vilamala has extended her contract with FC Barcelona to 30 June 2026. It was set to expire at the end of the season and the forward signed for three more seasons in the presence of president Joan Laporta, vice-president Rafael Yuste, and director Xavier Puig in the president's office at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The 20 year old Catalan is one of the most promising players to come through the youth system and is now making her presence felt in the first team. Allied to a cultured left foot, she clearly has great resilience, particularly after spending over a year on the sidelines due to injury. Bruna debuted with the first team during the 2019/20 season, and has now featured 40 times, scoring 20 goals.

Bruna Vilamala is the latest to extend her contract after Jana Fernández, Caroline Graham Hansen, Ingrid Engen, Fridolina Rolfö, Irene Paredes, Cata Coll, and Claudia Pina, ensuring that the current squad will remain together for at least one more season.

Bruna Vilamala's thoughts on Barça TV's ‘Día B’ programme

“I've been here for half a lifetime and I am very happy to extend for another three years. La Masia has given me everything, it's where I have grown as both a person and a footballer”.

"I think they are the best players in the world and sharing a dressing room with them is a privilege, I am very happy to be able to do so".

“I couldn't wait to return as I saw everything was really taking off. You enjoy it a lot more when you are playing”.
