UWCL PREVIEW: FC Barcelona v AS Roma

Spotify Camp Nou hosts another women's game, with a place in the European semi-finals on offer

After winning 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-final last week at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, FC Barcelona have a head start in Wednesday's 6.45pm CET kick-off, this time with home advantage.

But the runaway leaders of the the Italian league, which Roma are looking to win for the first time ever, showed that they are a very solid side indeed, and another fine performance will be required if the Catalans are to progress to the semi-finals for an unprecedented fifth year in a row.

They come into the game after another narrow victory, 1-0 against Real Madrid in the women's Clásico, in what is proving to be a very exciting week for the side coached by Jonatan Giráldez.

Salma Paralluelo scored the only goal of the first leg in the Italian capital, while the other three quarter finals also ended with the same score:
Bayern Munich 1-0 Arsenal
Lyon 0-1 Chelsea
Paris Saint-Germain 0-1 Wolfsburg

This is the third game this season that the women have played in the Spotify Camp Nou, and another huge crowd is expected to cheer them on.

Vicky López of the youth team is one of the call-ups to the 22-player squad that will not feature any of the injured Pina, Mariona and Alexia.
