Barça 5–0 Villarreal: Business as usual after break
The blaugranes pick another win a day notable for the returns of Hansen, Engen and Jana
Three more points for the blaugranes as Jonatan Giráldez's team notched up their 20th win of the season in the league with a 5-0 victory over Villarreal. Barça Women maintain their 100% record in the competition in front of just over 5,000 fans at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
The game also coincided with the Club's celebrations for International Women's Day which takes place on Wednesday 8 March with several activities on display before kick off. Furthermore, Alexia, Mapi León, Keira Walsh and Lucy Bronze all showed off the awards received last Monday at the FIFA 'The Best' gala.
Barça dominated from the off but it took them 20 minutes to come up with the opening goal. Claudia Pina's header was turned home by Oshoala for the Nigerian's 19th league goal of the campaign so far.
Before half time Salma made it 2-0 with a great finish after a one two with Aitana.
After the restart, the third goal did not wait long in coming. Caroline Graham Hansen returned to action after four months out through injury and celebrated with an excellent solo goal to make it 3-0 on 70 minutes. Ingrid Egen also made her comeback after two months out but the biggest cheer was reserved for Jana Fernández's appearance at the Estadi Johan Cruyff after more than a year out due to injury.
The day was rounded off with goals in the 84th and 90th minute for Hansen to mark a comeback with memorable hat-trick for the Norwegian.
