A comfortable victory to take the winning record in La Liga to 53 consecutive games

Barça Femení are as indomitable as ever in the Spanish championship, treating the Estadi Johan Cruyff to seven goals on Sunday afternoon.

Following an emotional prelude in which the Barça Foundation team was presented to the large crowd doing their own take on the Maori haka, the game got going with Barça dominating and taking the lead on the quarter hour through Geyse, and new English signing Keira Walsh then got to celebrate her first goal for her new club seven minutes before the break. 

It was in the second half that the floodgates opened. Pina made it three shortly after the restart, then a fabulous assist from Rolfö set up number four for Oshoala, who has now scored in seven consecutive games.

Mariona scored an solute belter to make it 5-0, and in near replica of the fourth goal, Rolfö again supplied Oshoala for the sixth.

Barça were in utter command against a totally outclassed Betis and there was still time for Oshoala to round off a fantastic day by completing her seu hat-trick.

Next up is a trip to Alavés on Saturday 11 February.
