Valencia 0-2 Barça Women: The Champions just keep on winning

The blaugranes return to action after the international break to record their 27th win in 27 matches in the competition

Another victory for Barça Women, 27 now from 27 matches  in the league following a 2-0 triumph away at Valencia in a contest that the blaugranes dominated from start to finish.

Jonatan Giráldez's team started the contest brightly and they went ahead on 17 minutes when good work by Júlia Bartel was followed up by a good finish from Aitana. The goal opened the door to a number of other chances with Marta Torrejón hitting the crossbar. However, at half time the blaugranes led just by the one goal.

In the second half Mapi Léon finally added a second with just eight minutes of the game remaining. The match saw Marta Torrejón make her 400th appearance in the league for Barça and now the blaugranes can look forward to Friday's Champions League semi final first leg against Wolfsburg.
