The Barça striker ends the competition with six goals alongside Chelsea striker Kirby
Barça have put in a Champions League campaign for the history books. The culers have become European Champions for the very first time thanks to their superb 4-0 win over in the final in Gothenburg. Furthermore, despite not scoring in the final, Barça striker Jennifer Hermoso ends the competition as top scorer with six goals alongside Chelsea's Fran Kirby.
The Barça number seven scored in every round of the competition bar the final. Against PSV Hermoso scored in the 4-1 win away from home and then in the last 16 against Fortuna Hjørring the striker grabbed a hat trick in the 4-0 win at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
In the quarter finals she was also on target in the 3-0 win against Manchester City at home. In the semi finals against PSG, Hermoso scored in the 1-1 draw in Paris and then in the final she won the penalty that allowed Alexia to make it 2-0 from the spot.
The Barça striker has also scored 16 goals in the Iberdrola League this season with eight games still to go and is second in the race to be pichichi behind Levante's Esther González. Jennifer Hermoso has already claimed the prize as the league top scorer on four previous occasions and is set on making it five in 2021.
