Agreement with Benfica for loan of Todibo
Frenchman to play for the Portuguese club for one season
FC Barcelona and Sport Lisboa e Benfica have reached an agreement for the loan of Jean-Clair Todibo for this season. The Portuguese club will take responsibility for the player’s contact and pay FC Barcelona 2 million euros with the option of purchasing the player for 20 million euros
The French defender joined FC Barcelona during the winter transfer window in 2018/19, and made his first team debut as a starter in the game away to Huesca in week 32 of la Liga. He was in the Liga winning squad of 2018/19. In the second half of the 2019/20 season, Todibo played on loan to Schalke 04.
