Ronald Araujo loaned to Liverpool FC
Uruguayan defender will spend the coming season with the Reds
FC Barcelona and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for the loan of Ronald Araujo until 30 June 2027.

The Uruguayan defender is therefore heading to the Premier League after joining the club on 29 August 2018 as a Barça B player. He was promoted to the FC Barcelona first team in the 2020/21 season, having made his debut the previous campaign, and won his first trophy as a Barça player. He has since gone on to win eight in total.
After 213 appearances and 14 goals, the Rivera-born defender, who had become one of the first-team captains, will now look to bring his defensive character to Liverpool, where he will spend the 2026/27 season on loan.
