The FC Barcelona first team are still enjoying special moments after their extraordinary season. On Wednesday night, the entire squad, coaching staff and other personnel gathered for a celebration dinner alongside president Rafael Yuste and members of the Board of Directors, as well as president-elect Joan Laporta, to commemorate the titles and other achievements secured during the 2025/26 campaign.

In a relaxed atmosphere full of camaraderie, the gathering served to honour the hard work done throughout the season and give everyone the chance to spend time together ahead of their final league fixture this Saturday away to Valencia.

The speeches

The evening also featured several speeches, with Rafael Yuste addressing the group by saying: “We’ve won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup. It’s an enormous source of pride. Without this group, we wouldn’t have won anything. You are an incredible team. You always know how to bounce back, especially in difficult moments.”

He also spared a special thought for players who have faced injuries or setbacks, with particular mention for Fermín López. He also paid tribute to Robert Lewandowski, thanking him for his contribution to the club and insisting that “he will always be one of us.”

Captain Ronald Araújo also highlighted Lewandowski’s impact since arriving at the club: “We’re very grateful. He arrived at a difficult moment and, through his hard work, discipline and attitude, he helped us grow as a team.”

Meanwhile, president-elect Joan Laporta congratulated the squad on the season: “It has been a fantastic campaign. You are building a legendary team, after a historic season last year and another one this year.”

Laporta thanked all areas of the club for their work and praised the spirit within the dressing room: “We have a group with talent, character and a spirit that is the key to success.” He too delivered an emotional message to Lewandowski, thanking him for believing in the blaugrana project: “You will always be part of Barça. Barcelona is your home and we hope to see you back here soon.”

Following the speeches, the club presented Lewandowski with a commemorative plaque in recognition of his extraordinary commitment during his time as a blaugrana player.
