Raphinha named in Brazil World Cup squad
Another Barça player has his summer plans all sorted with Raphinha called by Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti for the upcoming World Cup which will take place in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Second World Cup for Raphinha
The Barça winger scored twice in the blaugranes recent win over Betis and his form means he is part of the final Brazil squad which will be looking to take the trophy for the first time in 24 years. For Raphinha it will be his second World Cup after featuring in the 2022 edition in Qatar not long after signing for the blaugranes.
In 2022 he made five appearance for a Brazil side who were knocked out at the quarter final stage by Croatia. In 2026 Ancelloti's team will be looking to go further, beginning with qualification from a Group C that also contains semi-finalists in 2022 Morocco, Scotland and Haiti.
