Gavi back after more than six months out
Apart from the 5-2 win over Sevilla, the fans at Spotify Camp Nou were also able to enjoy the return to action of one of their most beloved players, Gavi. The midfielder came on in the second half to make his first appearance for the team in 205 days after a long recovery from injury.
The Andalusian underwent surgery back in September on his right knee and after months and months of hard work against Sevilla he was finally able to make his comeback.
A long awaited return
Gavi received a great ovation from the crowd at Sportify Camp Nou, taking the captain's armband from Ronald Araujo as he came on in the 82nd minute of the 5-2 win against Sevilla.
205 days of hard work
Since his last appearances in a Barça shirt against Levante back in August, the midfielder has spent 205 days working towards this day. Barça and coach Hansi Flick can celebrate his return for this decisive phase of the 2025/26 campaign.
