Losing always hurts but Barça's defeat on Tuesday on aggregate in the Copa del Rey semi-final was a little bit different. The fans set out to remind everyone that the stadium, still under construction, is the most imposing in world football. 

Against Atlético Madrid the blaugrana fans acted as an extra body out there on the field, just as the team requires on big nights such as Tuesday. The game against Atlético Madrid saw the biggest crowd of the season, 45,399, and confirmed that Spotify Camp Nou is going to be in full voice for the decisive phase of the season. 

Unbeatable atmosphere 

Talk of a comeback helped build belief amongst the player and the fans despite the nigh on impossible nature of the task. However, belief is the foundation of success and that was plain to see from each and every fans in the stadium. 

From the build up to the match onwards, the atmosphere was one of a big day at Spotify Camp Nou. Flags and scarves waved during a night that almost became another historic chapter in the Club's history. At the final whistle, despite being knocked out, the fans showed their appreciation for the team's herculean effort in the second leg. 

The fans displayed the passion that will be needed in the final, decisive season run-in where silverware will be up for grabs.  

11 games, 11 wins 

The 3-0 win against Atlético was the 11th in 11 matches for the blaugranes at Spotify Camp Nou this season, underlying the feeling that the return to the stadium has been a great boost to the side during the current campaign.  

Tuesday's Copa del Rey semi-final second leg saw a crowd of 45,399 pack into the stadium, a record for the season, beating the 45,205 fans who saw Barça beat Atlético Madrid in the league back at the beginning of December.
