Hansi Flick praised the team's performance following his team's 3-0 win over Real Oviedo at Spotify Camp Nou. The Barça coach admitted that the first goal was a turning point that allowed them to secure the victory.

The coach expressed his happiness at his team's performance, although he acknowledged that the first half was more difficult: "I'm satisfied with the team, especially in the second half. The first half was harder for us," said the German.

Flick, while insisting that he is not one to make excuses, explained that things did go to plan in the first half, possibly due to the heavy load of fixtures and travelling: "Overall, we've had a big workload of matches and I don't like to make excuses, but today, at the start, it was tough for us," he pointed out.

From the moment they scored, though, Flick admitted that it became easier to impose his team's style of play. "The most important thing was scoring the first goal, because from then on we were able to play our game," he added.

Praise for the players

The German coach highlighted the performances of Dani Olmo and Eric Garcia. Olmo, who scored the opener, has recently become a regular feature in Flick's plans: "Olmo has improved a lot in recent matches. He's capable of scoring goals, providing assists, and controlling the ball. That's very important."

He also had praise for Eric, a player who has emerged as a leader in the dressing room this season: "Eric is at an extremely high level. Wherever he plays, he performs well, and I'm very happy about that. He feels comfortable in the role of leader; he's an important player."
