FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Girona FC for the loan of Marc André-ter Stegen until 30 June 2026.

Marc ter Stegen has spent 11 and a half seasons as Barça goalkeeper. He arrived at the Club in May 2014 from Borussia Mönchengladbach at the age of 22. In his first season with at Barça he won the treble under coach Luis Enrique. More trophies would come – 6 league titles, 6 Copas del Rey, 1 Champions League, 5 Spanish Super Cups, 1 European Super Cup and 1 Club World Cup.

 The German has made 423 appearances for Barça with only Víctor Valdés on 534 having made more as a goalkeeper in FC Barcelona’s long and successful history.
