Fresh from their dramatic last-gasp win in the Catalan derby against Girona, FC Barcelona were straight back to work on Sunday. Hansi Flick’s men reported to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper for a light recovery session, designed mainly for those who had clocked the most minutes the previous night.

Out on the pitch were Roony, Araújo, Bernal, Christensen, Dro, Gerard Martín, Kochen and Eder Aller. Among the absentees, Ferran Torres continued training separately as a precaution, while Raphinha also kept up his individual recovery programme.

The blaugrana face a demanding week ahead, with two heavyweight fixtures on the horizon: Olympiacos in the Champions League on Tuesday, followed by El Clásico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday. The goal now is to maintain momentum and hit both clashes in peak condition.
