The England football team have become the first European side to qualify for the 2026 World Cup after winning in Riga against Latvia. The 0-5 win sees Thomas Tuchel's side wrap up first place in Group K with two matchdays still to play.
With an impressive record of six straight wins, 18 goals for and none against, England showed both their robustness and potential for the tournament that will be played in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico next year.
FC Barcelona's Marcus Rashford can accordingly join the other blaugranes with a World Cup chance in Raphinha and Araujo – the three players from the Club whose national sides have qualified to date.
In addition to England, the other national sides to qualify for the coming World Cup so far are Mexico, Canada, United States of America, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Australia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Jordan, South Korea, Japan, Morocco, Tunisia, New Zealand, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana and Cape Verde.
