FC Barcelona continue their preseason preparations and following the weekend's win over Vissel Kobe, Hansi Flick's side overcame FC Seoul 7-3 in the South Korean capital. The German coach was happy overall with the team but sense there was an easing off when they were 2-0 up. "We committed some errors and they are things we have to fix," admitted the boss talking to the media after the game.
Gavi scored the sixth goal in the victory and caught the eye of the coach. "I saw what I want to see from him. It's great news that he is at this level and we saw a great Gavi at the end of last season," before adding that he sees the midfielder as a '6' or '8'.
De Jong: 'The fans in Korean helped us a lot'
Midfielder Frenkie de Jong also faced the media after the game and confessed he was happy with the two wins so far in Asia and the reaction of the fans. "The heat makes it difficult as it's very humid and hot but the fans really got behind us. I am really happy to be here," said the Dutchman.
De Jong also touched on his future and a possible new contract: "I am very happy here at Barça, both at the Club and in the city. I think the Club is happy with me so I guess that will lead to a contract extension."
