Robert Lewandowski reached the 100-goal mark for Barça on Sunday at San Mamés, and less than four minutes later added another! After several matches sitting on 99, the Polish striker finally reached double figures against Athletic Club in the final game of the season. The milestone goal came in the 14th minute, when he received a delicious assist from Fermín and lofted a brilliant chip over Unai Simón.

It was also Barça’s 100th goal of this La Liga season and their 100th goal in all competitions in 2025. A three ton goal if ever there was one!

Top season at Barça

Just four minutes after the first, he added number 101, latching onto a corner that had been headed on by the home defence to convert at the far post.

In his third season at Barça, now at age 36, he improved on the tallies of his first two years. In his debut campaign he scored 33 goals en route to lifting the Supercopa de España, La Liga, and the Pichichi Trophy. Last season he still managed a very respectable 26 goals, and this year he finished with 42 despite a spell on the sidelines through injury.

Lewandowski remains one of the most relentless finishers in world football, and in the unlikely event of anyone doubting that, his goals are there as  proof.
